Kids Learn to Ride Private or Group Lessons
A private lesson can be one of the most effective ways to learn an exciting but challenging new skill. One of our coaches will work one-on-one with your child to fit their bike and helmet, learn balance skills, and begin pedaling on two wheels in a safe, supportive environment. Most kids start with a one-hour lesson to get the bike set up correctly and learn the basics of riding and balancing. Then after a week at home to practice the techniques, we meet again for a final lesson to perfect their technique.
Let the professional coaches at Cycle University make cycling fun and get your young ones on two wheels safely and quickly. Watch them smile with confidence and become real bike riders! Parent involvement during the class is optional, though in our experience, practicing with your child after the lesson speeds up the learning process. Many kids learn to ride in two one-hour lessons, while some require more or less depending on factors such as: balance, prior time on training wheels, past experience with falls, time on tricycles, and natural abilities.
We teach Learn to Ride classes year-round out of both West Seattle and Sand Point and will fit lessons into your schedule. Ages 5 and up are welcome. To schedule a set of Learn to Ride lessons, contact coach Craig Undem at email@example.com
