What is Indoor Cycling at Cycle University?
Indoor Cycling (ICE) is an indoor cycling program for any level of rider October 1 – May 1. ICE is high quality training in a state-of-the-art studio in Sand Point and West Seattle neighborhoods with expert coaches. Our classes are open to any level rider who wants a perfectly tailored workout on their own bike indoors with other like minded riders, from total beginners to very advanced. Our workouts provide an unmatched level of coaching and feedback to take your cycling fitness to the next level led by experienced racer-coaches who educate you while you ride precise workouts created by Cycle University.
ICE indoor cycling is wattage based power training and to ensure that your training is at your ideal level of resistance. You can see your progress with scientific accuracy each time you ride and your coach can see when you need more rest or more encouragement to stretch your limits. Each of your rides is captured in a performance files that can be sent to you after each workout and your coach program your trainer to deliver the correct workout each time.
Join us anytime, you don’t need to be a member or commit to a contract, just pay as you go after your first free class or buy a bundle of classes that don’t expire until May 1st 2017.
Our proprietary training programs are unique every workout, built with 20 years experience in a scientifically proven progression that give you specific coaching on these unique skills and energy systems:
-pedal stroke pressure analysis
-shifting on simulated climbs
-pacing on varied terrain withing targeted wattage ranges
-precise warm up and cool down protocols
-coaching “educational moments” of useful topics presented in each class
-Hiit, Tabata, VO2, VO2max, VO2peak, Sprinting max wattage,30 second – 1 minute – 5 minute power profiling, MAP testing, Over/Under, threshold, sweetspot, threshold, endurance, 2 x 20 and privately developed interval sets with constant evolution and variety.
-entertaining and original content from our experienced coaches
Cost for drop in classes is $30 (after your first free class, just $20 during Summer) or buy a bundle good for any class October 1 2016 – May 1 2017:
10 classes for $250
20 classes for $440
30 class bundles for $600 (early bird pricing of 10% off is in effect for those signing up sooner).
Unlimited October 1 – May 1 is currently $1250 ($1499 beginning October 1st, early bird pricing starts March then increases until October 1st with 2 payment options available, can be used at either location.)
Stop on in before any class with your bike to try a free class to be sure you like ICE before signing up. This is good on any of our regularly scheduled classes. Please arrive 15-30 minutes early and let the coach know you are coming in to try a free class before setting up. All class purchases are good for entire Indoor Season October 1 – May 1 2017.
Indoor Training Schedule:
We run our classes in a continuous progression but you can join us at anytime of the year and our coaches will be sure your resistance is set to an easy level to begin with. While scheduling preference is given to riders signing on for the full Unlimited package, you can pick any number of days per week to workout with us.

Things you will need for a class:
1. Bicycle (yours or let us know prior to class if you want to rent one)
2. Shoes and clothes appropriate for indoor riding, you will sweat!
3. Willingness to try something new. We will go easy on you but you can make it as hard as you like.
