I came in several months ago for a bike fit. It was my first step in preparing for the STP. You were so helpful and filled with knowledge….I wanted to say thank you for your time during the bike fit. You were precise, detailed and very positive. I expressed my worry regarding my lower back. I have struggled with left and right sciatic pain due to three bulging disks… I was so worried the STP would cause a pain crisis in my back. Guess what? I never felt a single pain or ache in my back. I believe that was because my bike actually FIT me! You paid exquisite attention to my back concerns. Your bike fit expertise made it happen. Thanks again Kristi and I look forward to spreading the word about the professional and friendly service you and CycleU has given to me. I could never have made it to Portland without CycleU!
You came in at 7 AM on a Saturday morning to fit my bike. You
worked hard on it and fast. I was amazed at all you got done. Saturday was finally cool but dry so I got out for a 40 mile ride. Unbelievable, I had a fantastic ride and enjoyed it very much, now I want warm (50degree) weather and dry conditions I want to ride
and ride the bike.
You did a fantastic job on the bike fitting. I am
very happy and wish to thank you for taking the time and getting it done
that day. I am glad you had the parts and had the experience to get it
done fast and correct. The handlebars feel great, the gel and tape work
I just wanted to thank you for your great work and tell you that I
am very happy with my bike now. I had a great 35 mile ride and it felt great,
wind and cold and all..
Thank you for making my bike a pleasure to ride again,
Thank you Craig,
I went on a 30 mile ride today–the longest ride I’ve been on in 16 months. I had no back pain, no numb hands, no neck pain, etc. I also feel having the fit has resulted in less overall fatigue. I’ll recommend your fit services to others.
Hey Craig – Just thinking about my fitting awhile back and had been meaning to drop you a line. I enjoyed the new set up, went with the shorter stem you recommended shortly after we met and had a glorious STP ride. The most comfortable, effortless STP I’ve had to date. Thank you.

Just wanted to drop you a quick note on how the post fit ride went.
Definitely an upswing on power — my hill climbing has improved. My usual pressure points and pain-areas (back and left shoulder) surprisingly did a lot better — honestly I thought the change in position was going to light them up but the exact opposite was true — they didn’t really bother me at all the whole ride. The feet were good too. I think this has to do with those inserts I bought. My right foot got a bit numb but I think this had more to do with the cold and less to do with the pedal pressure.
Quick comment on the average time — I probably would’ve topped 16-16.5 MPH (up about 2 MPH) but my riding buddy tapped out around 65 miles so I had to slow up some. I was fresh until the end.
Thanks again! It looks like the fitting did the trick for me.
